Choose your message.
Ask your assistant to finish and verify the original task, or write a specific next step.
STABLE · 4.0.0 BUILT FOR WINDOWS
Scout Permission Helper handles repetitive permission prompts in Microsoft Scout. Choose your window and Allow options, then follow your session with pause, stop, and activity logs.
Two files. No installer. No Power Automate.
One window. A smoother workflow.
Review the original task. If agreed work remains, continue and verify it. If everything is complete or you are blocked, explain and stop.
Default: 3 follow-ups · Manual copy/send
Select Start to try the controls.
Interactive preview only. This page cannot control your apps.
Small enough to share.
Simple enough to use.
SIMPLER AI ENHANCEMENT
Turn on AI enhancement for one reusable message and a follow-up limit. Start with the supplied message or make it your own. Your permission settings stay independent.
Ask your assistant to finish and verify the original task, or write a specific next step.
Three follow-ups by default. The usual idle, run, and request limits still apply.
Copy the message, send it in your selected conversation, then select I sent it to count the handoff.
Pause and Stop control both helper features. Reaching the follow-up cap stops the helper; the assistant's own task can keep running.
Sending is manual for now. Automatic completion detection and message sending are not connected. AI enhancement works with your chosen Detect only setting and permission labels.
LESS FRICTION. MORE VISIBILITY.
Select a Scout window and the Allow labels to watch. File-read and file-write permissions are separate, optional choices.
Detect only is on by default. Inspect matches first, then stop the run and switch modes when you are ready.
Follow session events, set idle and run limits, and open local logs. Pause when you need a moment. Stop when you are done.
FROM ZIP TO SESSION
Windows 10 or 11, Windows PowerShell 5.1, and the Microsoft Scout desktop app.
Extract the ZIP into a local folder.
Start-PermissionHelper.batPermissionHelper.Portable.ps1Open Scout, then double-click the BAT file. Pick your Scout window and choose the Allow labels to handle.
Start with Detect only checked. To enable clicking, select Stop, clear Detect only, then select Start again.

CURRENT STABLE RELEASE
Scout Permission Helper 4.0.0 · STABLE · Windows
ZIP download from GitHub.
Public download. No GitHub sign-in required.
WHAT’S NEW · 4.0.0 · OCTOBER 27, 2026
Scout’s conversation can stay above the latest permission prompt, leaving the Allow buttons out of view until you click the small down arrow. The helper previously waited because it could only act on visible buttons.
Version 4.0.0 brings an exact selected permission button into view, then checks it again before approving. Detect only stays read-only, and Pause, Stop and duplicate protection remain in place. If Scout does not support revealing the button through accessibility, use the down arrow manually.
PREVIOUS BETA · 4.0.0-beta.6
Stable 4.0.0 includes the previous Beta 6 Cowork support and the new Scout hidden-permission fix. Existing beta users can use Check for updates to get stable 4.0.0. Select a window first to see Scout’s Allow options or Cowork’s Create and Approve options. It also includes matching for different approval card titles and a compact session activity view.
AI enhancement is still manual. Automatic follow-up messages such as “next” are not included.
